Main house: From the covered terrace there are 2 entrances into the L shaped building. The first entrance leads to the fitted kitchen with original oven alcove. Through the kitchen is the room currently used as a dining area. At the end of this part is an office space. Off the dining room is the spacious double height lounge with a door to the terrace. The bathroom at the far end of this room is elevated and the double bedroom is on the mezzanine level.
Studio: At the side of the main house but accessed by a totally separate entrance is the studio with sleeping area to the left, lounge opposite. The bathroom is to the left behind the sleeping area, and opposite is a storage space that can be easily converted to a kitchen.
Storage: From the main entrance there are two storage rooms either side. Under the stairs to the roof terrace, the old wine press is now used as a boiler room for the heating equipment.
Outside: There is off road parking to the side of the house, and also a pedestrian entrance through a large archway. The garden is filled with mature plants to create a lush green area, with seating and dining options throughout. The large covered terrace at the front of the main house is perfect for outdoor dining, with the stone BBQ set to the side. To the side of the studio is a jacuzzi tub. Stairs above the boiler room lead to the roof terrace with open views of the mountain and village.
Location: Paleloni is a quiet village that has escaped the development boom close by, giving a tranquil ‘step back in time’ feel. However the sandy beaches and larger towns are withing a 15 minute drive, Chania airport is 45 minutes drive.
